If you're looking for the perfect border town where you can find quality medical services, there are a number from which to choose. Review the list of communities below and surf the links to find medical professional listing in that city.

Nestled in the sub-tropical zone just across the border from Brownsville, Matamoras is a vibrant city steeped in colonial history and alive in art and culture. You find plenty of medical services including medical doctors, dentists, clinics, laboratories and pharmacies.

One of the more popular border communities across the border from the Rio Grande Valley (the Pharr Bridge), Progreso is known for being U.S. friendly.  The crime rate is much lower here than in a few border towns and there are plenty of available medical services including medical doctors, dentists, clinics, laboratories and pharmacies.

Just across the border from McAllen, Reynosa is a sprawling industrial communitywith a large population base. An important border component in the North American Free Trade Agreement, you'll find a little of everything here, incluing medical doctors, dentists, clinics, laboratories and pharmacies.

Piedras Negras is called La Puerta de Mexico (Mexico's Door) because of the flow of commercial traffic and people that passes through it. It is the sister city, across the Rio Grande, of Eagle Pass, Texas. Piedras Negras is well-known for its ranches where sportsmen can hunt game species. You'll find plenty of medical service providors here as well.



Situated across the US border from Del Rio, Texas, Ciudad Acuña - once a sleepy border town - is fast becoming an industrialized city due to the "maquila" activity in the area. Well stocked souvenir shops, bars and restaurants and medical services can be found here.

Across the border from Laredo, Texas, Nuevo Laredo is the gateway of the principal highway to Monterrey and Mexico City. With one of the main Customs Stations in Mexico, Nuevo Laredo is characterized because of its intense international trade. Be warned, the crime rate can be high here because of drug-related  problems along the border.

Once wild and wooly in the Big Bend country, Ijinaga does have a number of medical service providors. Because of its remote location however, the community is not easily accessible to U.S. travelers. Once the stronnghold of Pancho Villa, Ojinaga is  rustic community along the famous Rio Bravo.

Ciudad Juarez is the largest city in the State of Chihuahua and the 5th (some say 4th) largest city in all of Mexico. With a population of almost 2 million people, this city is no sleepy little border town.
