Information

MEXICO:

Welcome Doctors/Health
Care Professionals:
If you're a medical professional located in one of the many Mexican communities across the Texas border, we welcome your inquiries about how you can get listed on our Web site.

Our goal is to provide a comprehensive clearing house of information for U.S. consumers who are looking for safe, professional and quality medical services in Mexico.

If you should decide to become affiliated with our information service, a Border Medical Services Review Board inspector will schedule an appointment for an interview and facility inspection. The primary minimum criteria that must be met includes:

License Inspection
First on our list of qualifying criteria is a review of the doctor and clinic's current medical license information. To be listed on this Web site, medical professionals must present a valid and current license and must not have pending malpractice or health & safety complaints or litigation.

Professional References
Qualifying physicians, clinics and dental offices must provide a minimum of at least two written references from associate medical professionals attesting to the qualifications and quality service you provide U.S. consumers.

Site Inspection
A Border Medical Services review inspector must be granted access to your medical facility for the purpose of conducting an on-site inspection. Inspections will focus on cleanliness and sanitary conditions, a review of safety procedures, and the ability of the facility/practice to meet U.S. consumer standards.

Interview
The Border Medical Services Inspector requires a personal interview with the chief medical-dental professional in charge of clinic/office management and practice. This interview is designed to determine the level of commitment to safety and health standards by the facility and to familiarize the inspection team with the level of service offered.

Certification
Upon meeting the standards as set forth by the Border Medical Services Inspection Team, participating medical professionals and clinics will be asked to sign an agreement that declares their commitment to providing the best services possible to U.S. consumers. In addition, a certificate of participation will be awarded and should be posted in your waiting room area so that U. S. consumers will know you have met the inspection criteria and are a clinic-medical professional in current good standing.
