of the care provider before his application is accepted and he/she becomes listed in our directory.
Part of our rigid requirements for listing includes a visit to the applicants medical facility, whether it be a doctor's office or clinic, a dentist's office, hospital, treatment center or pharmacy, for the purpose of conducting an initial interview that will help us determine whether the applicant is qualified to be listed.
We examine the physical licenses, as applicable, of all applicants, inspect their facility for health and safety issues, talk with their staff as possible, and inquire locally about their reputations and standing within both the local medical community and the community at large.
Once applicants meet our requirements and satisfy our inspection team during the interview and facility tour, we then make a decision as to whether that applicant should or should not be listed in our directory of services.
That doesn't guarentee that every medical proffesional listed will always perform his/her servies without incident or mishap, but it does serve to lessen the number of unwanted applicants, increasing your odds of finding a respected service provider because we have done the ground work for you.
Even so, it is required and recommended that you also do all within your power to determine a health care providers qualifications to meet your paricular needs. Visit with them and ask questions. They generally appreciate and are sensitive to your concerns, and it is both right and proper for you to screen and evaluate the doctor's qualifications to meet your specific needs.
In short, it's the same kind of attention to detail you should practice whether you are visiting a health care professional in this country or in Mexico. Common sense is the key, coupled with a little investigative research to determine whther the health care professional meets your high standards.
We simply try to make that aspect of your job a little easier by doing much of the ground work for you.
